Caps cover an identified hose-end interface. Specify connection form and the dimensions to be protected so the cap fits without damaging threads or sealing surfaces. Agree fit, material, colour and packing quantity.
Hose End Plugs
Plugs close the relevant opening for handling and dispatch. Confirm connection type and size, retention and removal requirements. A transport plug must not be treated as a pressure-rated service closure.
Fitting / Port Protection Caps & Plugs
Identify whether protection is for a loose fitting, machine port or completed assembly. State thread or flange interface and size. Reusable or disposable status must come from the actual supplier specification.
From inspection to dispatch
Agree the cleaning and end-protection step before packing. Maintain identification and keep protected assemblies separated from contaminants. Protective caps and plugs help manage exposure but do not demonstrate a laboratory cleanliness class or guarantee contamination-free delivery.
